An interview with Izumi Nakamitsu (UN High Representative for Disarmament Affairs) published in J-PAND
An interview with Izumi Nakamitsu, UN High Representative for Disarmament Affairs has been published in the Journal for Peace and Nuclear Disarmament (J-PAND). The newly launched journal is edited by Research Center for Nuclear Weapons Abolition, Nagasaki University (RECNA) and published by Taylor & Francis Group.
The interview was conducted by Professor Fumihiko Yoshida, Vice Director of RECNA. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of the J-PAND.
Ms. Nakamitsu gives us her reflection on the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) in the interview. She also discusses desirable UN disarmament architectures.
