Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp, the School of Tropical Medicine and Global Health, and the Interfaculty Initiative in Planetary Health, Nagasaki University conducted a Signing Ceremony

 On November 18, 2024  the School of Tropical Medicine and Global Health, and the Interfaculty Initiative in Planetary Health, signed an academic exchange agreement with the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp, Belgium.
 The School of Tropical Medicine and Global Health and the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp have continued their collaboration based on an academic exchange agreement signed in 2013. This time, the School of Tropical Medicine and Global Health and the Interfaculty Initiative in Planetary Health became joint lead departments and signed a new academic exchange agreement with the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp.
 On this day, Ms. Ann Peters, General Manager of the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp, and Prof. Kiyoshi Kita, Dean of the School of Tropical Medicine and Global Health, signed the academic exchange agreement in the presence of the relevant faculty members, thereby confirming their intention to continue promoting academic exchanges in the future.

 Afterwards, the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Takeshi Nagayasu, President of Nagasaki University. In addition to the President, Prof. Masako Ito, Trustee (Student Affairs and International Affairs), Prof. Noriyuki Nishida, Trustee (Research and Strategic Planning), Prof. Kiyoshi Kita, and Assoc. Prof. Miho Sato were also present during this visit.
