Our university has the responsibility to establish radiation emergency medicine systems, especially on Kyushu island. In addition, Nagasaki University is the collaboration center of WHO’s Radiation Emergency Medical Preparedness and Assistance Network (REMPAN) in establishing a radiation emergency medicine assistance network, especially in Asia.
