Nagasaki University International Student Program (NISP)

 1. Explanation of the Program
The NISP is an exchange program between Nagasaki University and a its partner universities that allow students to remain enrolled in their home universities while studying at Nagasaki University. The program lasts for one year, during which students are able to study Japanese language along with other subjects in an intercultural environment for credit, or as part of their research.

The NISP is geared towards those who are looking for a short term program where they are able to take classes in English, while growing through their experience abroad.

2. Details about the Program

1) Qualified Applicants
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a department of a foreign university that has an exchange agreement with Nagasaki University. In addition, applicants must have completed at least two years of schooling and hold foreign citizenship.
2) Course Length etc.
The program is one year long,consisting of two semesters.
The period of the each semesters is as follows:
Fall Semester: October 1st - March 31st
Spring Semester: April 1st - September 30th
3) Admission Timing
Students must begin classes in October.
4) Number of Students Admitted:
Up to 20 students will be admitted to the program.
