International Exchange Grant Program led by the European Commission: Erasmus+ program adopted as a partner university of University of Trento, Italy

This year, as a partner of University of Trento, Nagasaki University will take part in the Erasmus+ programme, a study abroad grant program led by the European Commission, the European Union's policy enforcement body. This is a grant for education, training, youth and sports exchange with universities outside the EU that are affiliated with higher education institutions in EU member states. This time, University of Trento was adopted by International Credit Mobility-ICM, a category of the programme, for the purpose of short-term exchanges for students, academic and administrative staff.

Since 2019, this is the second consecutive year for Nagasaki University to be choose for the Erasmus+ programme. The University will subsidize travel and living expenses related to the dispatch of the students and staff of the Faculty of Economics and the Graduate School of Medicine, Dentist and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Any credits acquired by students at the partner university can certify these credits after returning back to their original university. Participation in this programme not only contributes to exchanges with the University of Trento ,but also to the development of internationalization of Nagasaki University.
