Nagasaki University's PHASE Program selected as a MEXT Inter-University Exchange Project

The PHASE Program, Planetary Health Africa-Japan Strategic and Collaborative Education Program, proposed by the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Nagasaki University, has been adopted as a project to the Inter-University Exchange Project granted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
The project aims to develop global human resources who can play an active role and strengthen university educational capabilities on the international platform. The project connects three universities and an educational institution in Kenya.
Nagasaki University has had a close and long relationship with Kenya since the medical mission team dispatch in 1966, and the University design a program focusing on the concept of planetary health. Over the next five years, the University will revitalize students' exchange between Nagasaki and Kenya and further develop human resources to play an active role on the international stage.
