Professor Yasuhiro Shimizu of the Graduate School of Engineering was awarded "Fellow of The Electrochemical Society" at the 242nd Meeting of ECS

Professor Yasuhiro Shimizu of the Graduate School of Engineering, Department of Chemistry and Materials Engineering, was awarded "Fellow of The Electrochemical Society (Class of 2022 ECS Fellow)" at the ECS 242nd Meeting (https://www.electrochem.org/242) held in Atlanta, USA, from October 9 to 13, 2022.
"The Fellow of The Electrochemical Society" is a prestigious award given to researchers from around the world who are recognized for their outstanding scientific achievements, leadership, and contributions to the activities of the ECS.

Professor Yasuhiro Shimizu was selected for his leading and influential academic contributions and outstanding research achievements in the field of chemical sensors, especially semiconductor gas sensors; his training and guidance of future researchers and engineers; and his outstanding contributions to the sensor community.
