As vice-chair of the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) Professor Jacques Lochard from the Department of Health Risk Control of the Atomic Bomb Disease Institute received letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Environment and the FukushimaPrefectural Government at the occasion of the Minanmisoma Dialogue meeting held on February 10 and 11. The letters were presented in recognition of the support of the ICRP to the revitalization of the Fukushima Prefecture. As the recipient of these letters Professor Lochard recalled in his speech of thanks that what is at stake in a nuclear accident is also human dignity.
