Microplastic survey at Arasaki Beach, Hirado City

Associate Professor Hiroshi Asakura (Solid Waste Engineering, Resource Engineering, and Sanitary Engineering) and his students at the Nagasaki University Graduate School of Fisheries and Environmental Sciences conducted a survey of microplastics at the Arasaki Beach in Hirado City.  
Meanwhile, Nagasaki International Television (NIB), which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, is holding special features and related events under the theme of "the sea". The special feature  broadcast on Tuesday, September 21,introduced the problems of marine litter and microplastics, as well as the survey area in Hirado City.
