Outline of the Exhibition
　The year 2023 marks the 300th anniversary of the birth of Adam Smith, the "father of economics." To commemorate his anniversary, an exhibition of Adam Smith-related materials will be held at the Economics Library. 　
　The exhibition will include the first edition of "The Wealth of Nations," and his other masterpiece, "The Theory of Moral Sentiments," as well as many other Adam Smith materials collected since the days of Nagasaki Higher Commercial School, the predecessor of the Faculty of Economics at the University.
This exhibition follows the 200th anniversary exhibition of Adam Smith's birth, which was held 100 years ago.
