Development of a treatment apparatus for sleep apnea syndrome to automatically relieve respiratory arrest by changing the position of the head

The research group of Assistant Professor Shunji Moromugi and Professor Takakazu Ishimatsu of the Graduate School of Engineering and Professor Takao Ayuse of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences has developed a treatment apparatus for sleep apnea syndrome to automatically relieve respiratory arrest by changing the position of the head, which was displayed and demonstrated at MEDTEC 2013 held at Tokyo Big Sight on April 24 and 25.
