Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and Graduate School of Fisheries Science and Environmental Studies Selected in 2013 by the " Program to Disseminate Tenure Tracking System" Science and Technology Personnel Cultivation Subsidy Program

In 2013, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and the Graduate School of Fisheries Science and Environmental Studies were selected by the " Program to Disseminate Tenure Tracking System" science and technology personnel cultivation subsidy program. Nagasaki University was also selected in 2011 and 2012, making this the third consecutive year.

[Objectives of the Program to Disseminate Tenure Tracking System]

The goal of the program is to promote and entrench the tenure track system by providing research funding and other support to tenure track faculty in universities that create of environments in which young researchers can engage in independent research, while creating and implementing highly fair and transparent tenure track personnel systems in order to cultivate faculty and researchers who will become research leaders.

[Support Period]

* Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Sciences): 5 year period from 2013 to 2017 (one support recipient)

* Graduate School of Fisheries Science and Environmental Studies: 5 year period from 2014 to 2018 (one support recipient) (Environmental Studies)
