Global Nature Positive Summit 2026公式サイドイベント開催のお知らせ

長崎大学及びFinance and Economics KANは、2026年7月15日（水）に熊本で開催されるGlobal Nature Positive Summit 2026（GNPS2026）において、公式サイドイベントを開催します。

本イベントでは、「Operationalizing Nature Positive Finance through Blue Carbon: From Local Ecosystems to Scalable Investment Frameworks」をテーマに、ブルーカーボンを投資可能な資産として位置付けるための課題や、地域生態系と国際金融をつなぐ仕組み、アジアにおけるネイチャーポジティブ投資の展開可能性について議論します。

長崎大学からは環境科学部の昔宣希教授および環東シナ海環境資源研究センターのGregory Nishihara教授が登壇し、国内外の金融・研究分野の専門家とともに議論を行います。

Nagasaki University and Finance and Economics KAN will host an official side event at the Global Nature Positive Summit 2026 (GNPS2026), which will take place in Kumamoto on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. The event, titled “Operationalizing Nature Positive Finance through Blue Carbon: From Local Ecosystems to Scalable Investment Frameworks”, will explore the challenges of positioning blue carbon as an investable asset, mechanisms for connecting local ecosystems with international finance, and the potential for expanding nature‑positive investment in Asia.
From Nagasaki University, Professor Sunhee Suk of the Faculty of Environmental Science and Professor Gregory Nishihara of the Institute for East China Sea Research will join experts from the financial and research sectors in Japan and abroad for discussions.
