Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences and Nagasaki University conducted a Signing Ceremony

On March 29, 2024, Nagasaki University and the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS) conducted a signing ceremony to renew academic exchange agreements.
MNUMS, the only national medical university in Mongolia, owns four university hospitals, one of which is the "Mongolia-Japan Hospital" constructed with the assistance of Japanese government development aid (JICA). Additionally, many members of the MNUMS delegation have studied and obtained degrees in Japan, making the university deeply involved with Japan.
On the day of the ceremony, with the presence of relevant officials, President Damdindorj of MNUMS and President Nagayasu of Nagasaki University signed the academic exchange agreement and memorandum of understanding, confirming the intention of both universities to continue promoting academic exchange in the future.
Furthermore, Specially Appointed Professor Koji of Nagasaki University visited MNUMS in 2012 during his tenure as the Dean of the Graduate School of Medical, Dental, and Pharmaceutical Sciences, for the purpose of signing the memorandum and touring on-site hospitals. Dr. Koji is an acquaintance of former MNUMS President Batbaatar, and Nagasaki University's medical school has conducted exchanges with MNUMS such as donating 100 microscopes.
